Toshiba announces UEM India Private Limited name change to Toshiba Water Solutions Private Limited

19 Feb 2019 - New Delhi - Toshiba - a global leader in manufacturing electrical system for water supply and sewerage facilities for over 40 years, today announced the name change of its 100% Indian subsidiary - UEM India Private Limited (UEM) to Toshiba Water Solutions Private Limited. Toshiba acquired 100 percent stake in UEM in March 2018. Current shareholding in UEM is shared between Toshiba Corporation (56.11%) and Toshiba Infrastructure Systems & Solutions Corporation (43.89 %). The new name is effective from February 12, 2019 and will be implemented across the company's product and services.

Toshiba Water Solutions will provide complete, one-stop solution from design and engineering to construction, installation, operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment facilities. Toshiba Water Solutions will offer multiple modern technologies like ZLD (Zero liquid Discharge) using HEROTM (High Efficiency Reverse Osmosis), Anaerobic Biological Treatment (ABT), Activated Sludge Process (ASP), Sequential Batch Reactor (SBR), Membrane Bio Reactor (MBR), etc.
